MDC’s preferred work space is at systems-level where impact includes addressing community, organizational, public and non-government leaders attitudes, values and practices to support them to clarify and deliver shared results.
We help the system to develop a shared future and in that process, values, attitudes and practices maybe challenged. This brings discipline and efficiency and helps create and ride the waves of momentum as the system adapts to change. MDC supports all parts of the system to build capacity and skills for decisions to be sustained and move the system to its next generation.
We address complexities with careful listening, name the elephant(s) in the room, critically examine data, and use facilitation tools and levers for impactful and efficient advances on problem-solving. This means MDC does consensus building and collaboration where possible and advice on direct intervention when necessary.
Coaching leaders with results for individuals, organisations, communities and systems is offered by MDC with a particular focus in non-government organisations and multi-stakeholder collaborations.
Junction Australia has engaged MDC to support decision-making and planning for tender development and team-building.
Supporting the national early childhood development initiative Opportunity Child, MDC has been involved in supporting the scaling up in partner communities, documenting learning and co-creating pathways for results.

During 2014 supported developing future scenarios for senior staff to explore possible futures for community services. Developed materials to assist with public media campaign to amplify research results.
Facilitated sessions with students between 13 -18 from over twenty schools on what advice they wanted to give departmental leaders on the issues impacting on them for the future as part of Statewide planning for education in 2013.
Facilitated two Think Tanks in 2013: One on how to influence the issues around alcohol-fueled violence for the Australian Hotels Association | SA and one commissioned by the Department of Premier and Cabinet on the Future of Community Engagement.
